1. What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you connect a Shopify store we receive store metadata, product data, and inventory information via the Shopify API using only the OAuth scopes you explicitly grant.
We do not collect payment card details. Billing, if applicable, is handled by a third-party processor under their own privacy policy.
2. How we use your data
Your store data is used exclusively to provide the AI Growth OS service — generating SEO suggestions, product descriptions, pricing intelligence, and inventory recommendations. Product content is sent to OpenAI's API to generate AI suggestions. OpenAI processes data under their privacy policy.
3. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or store data with third parties for marketing purposes. Period.
4. Data security
Data is stored in encrypted databases. Access tokens for your Shopify stores are stored encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS. We apply the principle of least privilege — AI features access only the data necessary to perform the requested action.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and disconnect your stores within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@ai-growth-os.com.
7. Cookies
We use a single, strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
